DESCRIPTION: Workshop will include community and school based strategies and models on how to increase parent engagement in the education and advocacy of their children. Advocates will provide information and analysis of existing educational policy on parent engagement. Attendees will receive a free copy of the New York Urban League's "A Parent's Guide to College."
